We aim to maximize shareholder value for all our portfolio companies. We work closely with all our incubated and investee companies and provide guidance at all steps. Our team comprises of individuals with several years of experience in all aspects of online marketing and operations. We work together to transform a good start-up company to become a successful large-scale company. Our investments focus is on in the Telecom, Internet, Media and Entertainment sectors mainly in Europe and India.

Veddis will consider investing in various stages of a company´s development from incubating a start-up to investing for growth.

Veddis invests in businesses with significant growth potential, run by exceptional entrepreneurs. We provide entrepreneurs not just with growth capital but also provide extensive management expertise and contacts to assist small / mid-size businesses in achieving their goals.

Our investments typically vary from $250k to $5M although we will consider other stages, sectors and amounts if the investment is compelling. We are also open to co-investment opportunities with other investors who share our vision.

Specifically we look for businesses that have:

  • Exceptional people – we look for bright and committed entrepreneurs who are passionate about creating great products and services to build a great company. We need to believe in the founder and the management team as the right people to take their venture to the next level.
  • Unique product or service – You must have a unique and compelling product or product idea that has the potential for capturing a significant market share and ideally with IP protection. Generally we are not interested in “me too” products.
  • Market opportunity – Your business must address an important need or opportunity within a market sector that is significant because of its size, growth or strategic importance.
  • Competitive advantage – Your product and model must have unique features which will succeed where others have not or will not. You should be able to demonstrate that you can maintain a lead in the face of the competition.
  • Financial model – Your business must be based on a powerful and logical financial model which scales quickly, efficiently and significantly; requires reasonable cash burn to breakeven and produces exceptional profits thereafter.
  • Technology – If your venture depends on technology, it must be under your control, defensible, reliable and scalable.
